Los Angeles alt-rockers Starling have shared their latest single No Frown, the final taste of their upcoming EP.  Starling will release new EP Forgive Me on 27 June.

Their latest single No Frown is performed as a duet.  It documents the invincibility and sweetness that a small town love can bring to a backing of acoustic guitar and strings.  Reflecting on the track Starling explained, “No Frown is the most acoustic song on the record. It is about growing up in city and falling in love with someone from small town, and falling in love with the small town itself.  It is sweet song, it feels complete; All of Starling’usual yearning satisfied. The lyrics were written by Kasha and performed both by her and lead guitarist Gitai. Erik orchestrated the strings.”

New EP Forgive Me lands in just a few weeks.  The first taste of the seven track EP landed in the form of their single I Can Be Convinced, as the four-piece look at all-consuming love against a backdrop of soaring guitars, hi-hats and saultering vocals.

Other tracks featuring on the EP are Quiet, My Love, 25, Slow Down and Keep It, a nearly seven-minute track Starling has been performing since early 2024.
