Slow Crush have announced a UK headline tour this October in support of their upcoming album, Thirst.  The 12-date tour includes a Manchester gig at Rebellion.

The album promises to showcase an evolving sound, blending heavier riffs with emotional, dreamlike vocals.  It is expected to be more gritty, but retain dynamic textures and propulsive rhythms.  Speaking about the album’s title track, Slow Crush explained, “Thirst’ is about an unquenchable desire for what’s next, with focus on essence and balance. Not losing yourself in the ever-growing distractions that surround us. A yearning pulse for renewal, ‘Thirst’ ripples with a craving for something pure, something vital. It churns with an unrelenting drive, building an electrifying momentum that surges forward and breaks through, offering both release and rebirth.”

Thematically, Thirst finds Slow Crush delving into more emotional places than ever.  The overarching theme is what vocalist and bassist Isa Holliday describes as “the fragility of human connection, and the complexity of love and self-identity.”  “We want people to let themselves go and feel embraced by the music, so that they can experience it in 4D” she continues.  “That’s what we hear a lot from people who come to see us live, or people who’ve listened to our previous albums, is that we take them to another dimension. I think that’s something that we miss in this day and age with everything that’s going on in the world, making us very aware of everything outside, but not allowing us to just be in the moment as much as you should. We want to let people take a moment for themselves and let the music take them wherever they would like to go.”

Manchester fans can look forward to seeing Slow Crush live at Rebellion on 23rd October, where the band will present their latest work in an immersive live setting. Alongside their new material, the four-piece will bring a fresh, specially curated performance to venues across the UK and Ireland.

Speaking about their return to the UK, Slow Crush shared, “We’re excited to be presenting our new album ‘Thirst’ with a fresh new and special live set (more info on this later). We feel these new songs translate really well in a band setting and just can’t wait to bring this wall of sound to the UK. We’ve personally curated two great support bands for this tour—SOM, who recently released a new album, and another band to be announced later.”

Slow Crush will release Thirst on 29th August 2025 via Pure Noise Records.
