Self Esteem has announced details of her new twelve-track album which will land in April.

The new album marks a follow up to Self Esteem’s highly acclaimed BRIT and Mercury Prize-nominated 2021 album Prioritise Pleasure.

Self Esteem’s new album A Complicated Woman promises to find the artist aka Rebecca Lucy Taylor addressing complex thought processes as they unfold in real time.  It looks at taking control of your life, a theme embodied in the first single to land from the album Focus Is Power.

On the new album Self Esteem is joined by a choir constructed of dozens of mostly female voices including close friends, her band and collaborators including Nadine Shah, Moonchild Sanelly and Sue Tompkins.

Self Esteem will release the album on a string of formats including digital, CD, cassette and vinyl with limited editions also available.
