Highly tipped trio Say Now will support Omar Rudberg at Manchester’s O2 Ritz next week.
The Manchester gig is one of five UK dates they will play. As well as the Manchester date they will also perform in Glasgow, Birmingham, Bristol and at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire.
The group (Ysabelle Angeli, Amelia Onuorah and Maddie Haynes) have been celebrated for embracing a new wave of Gen Z feminism. And in the last year they have found themselves supporting Kylie at BST Hyde Park, performing at Mighty Hoopla, collaborating with fashion brands and bagging Glamour’s Women of the Year Rising Star award. They have also been tipped by The Grammys as a “Girl Group To Know”
The Manchester gig now lands after they released their latest single Makeup Sex late in 2024. The track defied normal narratives instead examining their own toxic behaviours.
As Say Now explain, “We wrote this song for when it’s that time of the month and your impulsivethoughts start making you do questionable things, like going back to your ex. We put thosefeelings into this song and hope you’re not singing it from their bedroom…”
