Sarah Klang has shared her latest single, Beautiful Woman, the introduction to her upcoming album.
The Swedish artist joined forced with producer Eric D. Johnson for the soaring, piano-driven indie pop ballad. The track marks the first taste of her upcoming full-length album, with details due to be released soon.
Alongside the track, Sarah Klang has also released a cinematic video.
The track centres on a young Sarah Klang as she becomes aware of her own sexuality. It takes on initial joy contrasted with struggles with body image and societal definitions of beauty. As she explains, “Beautiful Woman takes place in my teenage bedroom and in my stupid little teenage head, as I discover my sexuality, try to be thin like Paris Hilton, and grow up believing that becoming a beautiful woman is the great meaning of life.”
