Sabrina Carpenter has confirmed details of her seventh studio album, Man’s Best Friend, which will land later this summer.

Sabrina Carpenter will release her new album Man’s Best Friend on 29 August 2025. The record follows her 2024 album Short n’ Sweet, which earned critical and fan acclaim and two Grammy Awards.

New album Man’s Best Friend’s lead single, Manchild, debuted last week and quickly climbed to number 1 on the Spotify US and Global charts. Written by Carpenter alongside Jack Antonoff and Amy Allen, its music video has already surpassed 15 million views.

Carpenter’s previous album, Short n’ Sweet, featured three major singles—Espresso, Please Please Please, and Taste— accumulating billions of streams. The album was a massive success, selling millions of copies worldwide and securing six Grammy nominations.  Sabrina took home the “Best Pop Vocal Album” award for Short n’ Sweet along with “Best Pop Solo Performance” for the album’s lead single, Espresso. Following the Grammys, Sabrina released Short n’ Sweet (Deluxe), which featured five additional songs, including a duet with global icon Dolly Parton on Please Please Please and Busy Woman, which Sabrina debuted live on her sold-out headlining arena tour.

Internationally, Sabrina shattered records by becoming the first female artist to hold the top three spots on the UK Singles Chart simultaneously with Taste, Please Please Please, and Espresso. She also set new benchmark for most weeks at #in single year by female artist on the UK chart—totalling 21 weeks—and became the first international artist to receive the BRITs’ Global Success award.

Man’s Best Friend will mark the next chapter in Carpenter’s career. In addition to the album release, she is set to headline BST Hyde Park on 5 and 6 July, before embarking on the second leg of her Short n’ Sweet Tour in the autumn.

More details on Man’s Best Friend are expected in the coming weeks.
