Paris Paloma has announced a run of UK tour dates including a Manchester gig in support of her upcoming debut album Cacophony.
Paris Paloma will headline a Manchester gig at Gorilla in November.
The nine-date tour marks her second UK headline run and opens with the gig in Manchester. Paris Paloma will then headline dates including London’s KOKO, Bristol’s SWX and Leeds’ Brudenell.
News of the tour comes after Paris Paloma recently announced her debut album Cacophony. Paris Paloma will release Cacophony on 30 August. The 15-track album will feature her previous releases my mind (now), drywall, as good a reason, yet and the viral single labour. The album promises to switch between the tend and heartbreaking and the aggressive and vengeful. It is also expected to draw influence from dark pop, folk and indie.
Explaining the album title, Paris Paloma noted that it is inspired by Stephen Fry’s Mythos and creation. “From this chaotic cosmic yawn, creation sprang forth,” Paris explains, “so this is a collection that makes sense of the overwhelming space of my mind where my anxiety, my OCD, and trauma processing lives.”
