Omar Rudberg will headline at Manchester’s O2 Ritz next week following the release of his EP Every Night Fantasy.
The Manchester gig is one of five UK dates he will headline. As well as the Manchester date he will also headline dates in Glasgow, Birmingham, Bristol and at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire.
Every Night Fantasy marked a milestone for the Venezuela-born Sweden raised singer and actor. The EP landed after the singles Red Light, Talk/Bye Bye and Sabotage dropped through the year. The eight track release found the former FO&O member delivering a release which spenning dance and rhythm through to deep emotional ballads.
The EP took on the trials of love, self-doubt, triumphs and personal growth. It draws on 80s inspired grooves, modern pop production and expansive keys.
Speaking about the EP Omar Rudberg said, “The Every Night Fantasy EP is a sonic exploration of love’s many phases – from finding the courageto move on to getting lost in passionate fantasies, navigating the aftermath of a breakup, andyearning for freedom after a toxic relationship. Creating this EP was an intense, introspective process;I spent countless hours in the studio, exploring new sides of myself and crafting songs that reflect mydeepest thoughts and feelings about love, heartbreak, and the fantasies born from a desire to feel liberated.”
