Olivia Dean will headline an intimate acoustic date at Manchester’s Gorilla in September as part of a run of UK dates. The run lands in support of the upcoming release of her second album, The Art of Loving. The September shows, organised in partnership with independent record stores, will see Olivia Dean headline the gig in Manchester and a date in Liverpool.
The Art of Loving, out 26 September via Capitol Records, explores themes of romantic, platonic, and self-love. The album includes her recent single Nice To Each Other, a one-take visual directed by Jake Erland. Speaking about the single, Dean said, “Nice To Each Other is a song about the push and pull of exploring your independence in dating. It’s about enjoying someone in the present and allowing it to be both light and meaningful. I think this song and video represents a playfulness in me that I’m excited for people to see.”
The new record follows Olivia Dean’s acclaimed 2023 debut, Messy. The multi-BRIT Award and Mercury Prize nominee recently worked with Sam Fender on a new recording of his track Rein me In. The new version features a verse and vocals written and sung by Olivia Dean. They performed the track at the London Stadium earlier this month in from of 80,000 fans and subsequently at Newcastle’s St James’ Park.

Olivia Dean will headline Gorilla in Manchester on 19 September 2025. She will headline at Liverpool’s The Dome in conjunction with the Jacaranda on 6 September 2025. The Manchester and Liverpool gigs are two of seven acoustic dates she has announced in support of her upcoming album The Art of Loving:
