Newdad have announced that they will release their new EP Safe in May. The new EP follows the success and acclaim of their debut album Madra which pulled through influences such as Slowdive, The Cure and Cocteau Twins.
The new EP is expected to deliver a shoegaze dream-pop sound, brimming with confidence, hooks and ethereal textures. The EP promises to find Newdad exploring influences including Pavement and Sonic Youth as they build on the youthful enthusiasm of Madra with a more selective dynamic.
Newdad will release Safe on 2 May 2025. In support of the EP they have also announced a special Live at The Dome show in London. The gig takes place on 14 May.
