MJ Cole has announced a UK tour to celebrate 25 years of his Mercury Prize nominated album Sincere. One of the godfathers of Garage, MJ Cole will headline at Manchester’s Albert Hall. The Manchester gig is one of five UK dates he has announced.
The tour will focus on the 25th anniversary of MJ Cole’s Sincere. The album featured the singles Sincere and Crazy Love and landed in 2000 under the Talkin’ Loud Label. As well as the album MJ Cole will perform tracks from his back catalogue, reimagining them with past, present and new collaborators.
Over the years MJ Cole has also produced tracks for artists including Dizzee Rascal, Katy B, Becky Hill and Stormzy. He has also remixed work for the likes of Mariah Carey and Alicia Keys, DJed alongside Sammy Virji and co-wrote and produced Mary J Blige’s Nobody But You.
