M(h)aol have announced a run of UK tour dates including a Manchester gig at Soup.  The Manchester date is one of nine headline dates they have confirmed.  They will also headline a gig at Birkenhead’s Future Yard.

News of the tour comes as M(h)aol share their new single I Miss My Dog.  The single is accompanied by a video featuring crowd-sourced clips of fans’ pets and marks a tribute to the dogs we’ve loved and lost and the ones still with us.

Speaking about the track M(h)aol’s Constance Keane said, “’I Miss My Dog‘ is a song about my dog Poppy, and the experience of losing a pet. She passed away in July last year, and I still sometimes wake up thinking she’s with us. I think losing a dog is something that people either understand or they don’t, and this is a song for those of us that do.”

New single I Miss My Dog is set to feature on M(h)aol’s upcoming album Something Soft.  M(h)aol will release Something Soft on 16 May via Merge Records.  The 11-track album also features the previously released Pursuit and Snare.
