Maisy Kay will headline at Manchester’s Deaf Institute on Saturday.  The Manchester gig is one of six UK and Ireland shows she is playing supporting Jamie Miller.

The tour comes after Maisy Kay release her two-part EP Wonderlust last year.  The EP was divided into Dawn and Dusk chapters featuring tracks including Technicolor Honeymoon and Cosmically Intertwined.

Wonderlust added to Maisy Kay’s penchant for engagingly off-kilter musical adventures. Her other early creative ideas have included using the Na’vi language (the fictional dialect from Avatar) in her single The Beast Within and performing Japanese lyrics on J-Pop star Anly’s Spotify Viral smash Distance.

The tour marks a return to the UK for the Los-Angeles based artist, who has only previously played two UK shows despite being born and raised in England.  She has previously tour with the likes of Tori Kelly and JVKE.

Speaking about returning to the UK, Maisy Kay said, “I’m beyond thrilled to be joining Jamie Miller along with Alex Sampson on the ‘long way home world tour’ for the UK and Europe. I can’t wait to perform in the UK again and perform some tracks from my latest EP – it’s good to be back!”
