Lorde has announced a string of UK and Ireland tour dates opening with a Manchester gig at the AO Arena. The Manchester Arena gig is one of four UK and Ireland shows she has confirmed.
The New Zealand alt-pop star has revealed details of a huge run of North American and European dates. As well as five shows in the UK and Ireland she will also headlined European venues including Berlin’s Max-Schmeling-Halle, and Paris’ Zenith. US dates include a huge show at the iconic Madison Square Garden.
This announcement follows the news of her highly anticipated new album Virgin – out 27 June and the release of What Was That, co-produced by Lorde, Jim-E Stack and Dan Nigro. The track has been praised for its raw energy and emotional immediacy, offering a glimpse into the sonic world of Virgin.
