Lo Lauren has shared her new single Before The Kiss, the follow up to her infectious previous release Wonder.
Wonder received strong support from Radio 1, Spotify and Apple Music. Wonder was written by Lo Lauren and a team of collaborators with mixing from Mark ‘Spike’ Stent and mastering from Idania Valencia. The accompanying video found Lo Lauren in a dream scenario. Speaking about Wonder at the time Lo Lauren said, “If this song was a sweet, it would be popping candy. Fizzy, exciting & nostalgic. It’s an ode to every ‘could’ve been’ throughout my life; the exes, the flings, the strangers on the tube… and a song in which your imagination can run wild with possibilities. It’s longing for an alternative reality where they’re no longer the one that got away, no longer the one who was almost yours. I truly, madly, deeply love Wonder and it was one of those magical songs that wrote itself in about 10 minutes at the end of a really long, tiring day – a reminder to keeeeep going!”
Now she has returned with Before The Kiss, ahead of the release of her debut EP Wonderlust which is due to land next year. The EP promises a journey through the highs and lows, twists and turns of young womanhood.
Lo Lauren released a string of singles in 2023 including including Monster, Never The One and Only One On Earth, which she followed up with No Good In Goodbye, earlier this year.
