Rising country artist Lanie Gardner will release her debut album A Songwriter’s Diary later this month.
The 10-track collection was written entirely by Lanie Gardner offering an insight in to her musical journey and an introduction to her identity.
The album features Lanie Gardner’s latest track Somewhere, Nowhere in Carolina which landed at the end of last week. The song focuses on her experiences in the music industry and her feelings of disconnection and longing for home before finding herself again. As she explains, “I was defeated and wanted nothing more than to be ‘somewhere’ back home and ‘nowhere’ in my career. Today, I write songs for my fans, my friends, and my family who pulled me through such a dark time. But that day… I wrote a song for me.”
Also featured on the album are her previously released tracks Lord Knows and Mountains and Miller.
