KillerStar have announced that they will release their new album Live At The 100 Club in March. The album will land as the band return to the venue for two shows featuring David Bowie Band alumni Mike Garson, Mark Plati, Kevin Armstrong and special guest Earl Slick.
In March 2024, KillerStar celebrated the release of their critically acclaimed self-titled album by playing their debut show at a sold-out 100 Club. The live recording of the show is now set for release featuring six songs from their debut album plus Mike Gardon’s piano solo and the new song Drift. The album was mixed by Dave Eringa (Manic Street Preachers) and was mastered by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios.
The line-up on the night was led by core KillerStar duo Rob Fleming (vocals/guitar) and James Sedge (drums) alongside renowned David Bowie collaborators Mike Garson, Mark Plati (bass), Kevin Armstrong (guitar) and Emm Gryner (backing vocals). They were joined by Dom Beken (synths, also of Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets) and Ulrika Bergelind (backing vocals, James Bay) along with Simon Bates on Sax.
KillerStar followed their debut album with the reworks album ‘KillerStar Reimagined’, which included a ‘Should’ve Known Better’ remix from The Anchoress.
KillerStar will release Live At The 100 Club on 7 March 2025. The album is available to pre-order now on vinyl, CD and all digital platforms.
