Kate Klein has shared her latest track FMSB as she turns bad choices on their head to create new music.
The track finds Kate Klein showing her flair for turning bad choices in to new tracks. It typifies Kate Klein’s approach with raw energy, storytelling and anthems for the reckless. It dips in to her sonic spectrum which spans alt-pop, hyperpop, electronica and punk whilst addressing impulsiveness, rash decisions and taking chances.
Kate Klein shares new single Stuck
FMSB is a track which takes on chasing a thrill, buying in to a fantasy and then having to deal with the wreckage afterwards.
As Kate Klein explains, “I wrote this song two years ago inspired by ‘Euphoria’ and ‘Spring Breakers’… basically my life. It’s about chasing the thrill, living fast, and realising too late that you’re in way too deep. Still waiting for my healing era, but until then… I’ll keep making messy songs.”
FMSB lands as Kate Klein builds up to her debut EP Love, War and Other Human Inventions, which promises a mix of alt-pop, hyperpop and punk. Her influences stretch across the musical landscape, from Post Malone, Lil Peep, Gwen Stefani to the current scene stars like Charli xcx, Royal and the Serpent and Chappell Roan.
