Kate Klein has shared her new single Stuck which features on her upcoming debut EP.
The single follows her previous including Serontinin pls which picked up support from Jack Saunders, BBC Introducing and MTV.
New single Stuck finds Kate Klein confessing to the chaos around her life – from waking up on the bathroom floor with a banging headache to a list of regrets and being too scared to check which messages were sent last night. She says of the track, “STUCK is about deciding to run away from your problems, but your anxieties insist on following you.”
The track follows the theme of messy misadventures and anxious insecurities she contrasts with unexpected triumphs and surprise joys. She draws influences from sounds from Avril Lavigne to Debbie Harry and Post Malone to blink-182.
Kate Klein wrote the track and also joined production duties alongside Giovanni Bottoglia and Alessandro Fapanni. mixing and mastering come courtesy of Austin Seltzer.
Stuck will feature on Kate Klein’s upcoming EP Love, War and Other Human Inventions.
