Jesca Hoop, Kate Stables and Lail Arad will bring the songs of Joni Mitchell to life at Manchester’s Stoller Hall.  The Manchester gig is one of a run of 10 UK and Ireland tour dates.  They will headline dates across October and November.

The touring tribute celebrates the work of Joni Mitchell through Jesca Hoop, Kate Stables (This Is The Kit), and Lail Arad. Following a successful debut at The Roundhouse in April 2024, the show returns this autumn with a carefully curated lineup of musicians paying homage to Mitchell’s legacy. Richard Sears will accompany on piano.  The project was originally conceived and curated by Lail Arad to mark Joni Mitchell’s 80th birthday and hosted by Cerys Matthews with performances from Emeli Sande, Eska, Jesca Hoppe, Kate Stables, Lail Arad, Olivia Chaney, Sam Amidon and Vashti Bunyan.

Manchester-based Jesca Hoop, a long-time admirer of Joni Mitchell, has also presented Legend: The Joni Mitchell Story, a six-part BBC documentary. The project, curated by Lail Arad, aims to honour songwriters through contemporary interpretations, with performances blending personal influence and deep respect for Mitchell’s work.
