Jacob Banks has completed his ambitious Yonder anthology with latest release Book IIIYonder: Book III opens with the focus track Blame It On God.

Each book of ‘Yonder’ has shared a different side to Jacob’s creativity and inspirations.  First, ‘Book I’ propelled Motown and ‘70s Afrobeat influences into the modern day, while ‘Book II’ applied alternative sonic touchpoints to Jacob’s core soul sound. ‘Book III’ now focuses on rootsy acoustic singer-songwriting and inspirational gospel.

Book III features five tracks, all penned by Jacob Banks.  It’s a release which he explains, “… is the final chapter and it’s for those of us who feel everything all too much.”

Across the three Yonder Books, Jacob Banks has released an album’s worth of material over the course of a few months.  They stretch genres and highlight his versatility.

The final Yonder book arrives ahead of a string of European tour dates for Jacob Banks which include a gig at Dublin’s The Academy (17 April) and culminate in a date at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town (23 April).
