Irish soul-rockers Hothouse Flowers have announced a Liverpool gig at the O2 Academy celebrating their iconic albums People and Home.
The freshly announced date will follow a string of shows in the UK this June. The gig will feature Hothouse Flowers performing standout songs such as Don’t Go from their debut album People and I Can See Clearly Now which featured on 1990’s Home. At the time of People in the late 80s, Hothouse Flowers were garnering attention across the live music playing in the late-night clubs and bars of Dublin City Centre. Their excelling musicianship, blend of genres and live reputation meant that their debut album was an instant hit and flew to top spot in the Irish charts and no.2 in the UK charts.
