Health have shared their new release Ashamed, a collaboration with Lauren Mayberry of Chvrches.
Ashamed marks a reworking of the track which features on their latest album Rat Wars. The song finds Lauren Mayberry taking the lead on two verses, sharing harmonies with Health singer Jake Duzsik.
Rat Wars is Health’s highest streaming album which more than 24 million global streams to date. The album debuted at number 1 on Apple’s Alternative Top Albums Chart and in the Top 10 of Spotify’s Top Albums Chart. The album, their fifth, also picked up a wealth of critical and media praise.

Ashamed lands amidst a flurry of collaborations and reworkings for Health. Metal legends Lamb of God, whose guitarist Willie Adler is featured on the Rat Wars track Children of Sorrow have announced they will once again team up with Health for a new remix of their track Laid To Rest on their Ashes Of The Wake (20th Anniversary Edition) LP due out in August. In April, Health released their first collaboration with chart-topping rock band Bad Omens and electronic sensation Swarm on The Drain from Bad Omens’ Concrete Jungle. A Selected Works Thematic Album Compilation playlist, featuring the band’s most beloved tracks, was also recently released across all DSPs.
The L.A. industrial-rock band are currently on the road in Europe playing a string of festivals including Download, Tons of Rock and Roadburn. The tour will take them across Europe before a string of dates in Australia. They will then return to Europe for additional shows in October.
