Hana Lili has shared her latest single Bedroom Floor, the follow up to her June release Figure It Out.
Figure It Out made its way on to key playlists on Spotify and also landed Radio 1 and Radio X airplay.
Now, Hana Lili’s new single, Bedroom Floor, finds her merging emo melodies with shoegaze guitar. Rock influences are pulled in and melded with pop infectiousness. The track revels in Hana Lili enthusing about living in the moment whilst also noting it’s pitfalls.
Hana Lili shares new single Iconic
“Bedroom Floor is a song that describes the drama and cathartic feeling of living in the moment” she explains. “I had a lot of fun with the lyrics when writing this song but also realised the vulnerability when talking about your feelings, even happy, celebratory ones. When producing the track I had a lot of fun running the synths through a multitude of different guitar pedals and really enjoyed playing around with the juxtaposition of creating dramatic production sounds to contrast with talking about making out on a bedroom floor. Justification for the ‘big light’ being OFF!”
Hana Lili co-write Bedroom Floor alongside Mark Vallance and co-produced it with Daniel Newcombe.
Hana Lili will hit the road for a string of shows this Autumn with four headline dates taking in Glasgow, Birmingham, London and Cardiff. She will then perform at Live at Leeds in November.
