Gillian Welch & David Rawlings have announced a run of UK and Ireland tour dates, including a gig at O2 Apollo Manchester. The Manchester gig is one of six dates they have confirmed.
The tour marks their first UK and Ireland headline shows since 2011. The duo will perform exclusive European dates in October 2025 following the release of Woodland, which won the 2025 Grammy Award for Best Folk Album.
Their latest album was recorded at Woodland Sound Studios in Nashville and features a mix of full-band arrangements and stripped-back duets. The release follows a career spanning over two decades, with Welch and Rawlings widely regarded as key figures in modern folk and Americana.

Tickets for the Manchester gig go on sale at 10 am on Friday 14 March. They will be available via the duo’s official website and authorised ticket sellers.
