Franz Ferdinand have announced details of a UK tour including a Manchester Academy gig. The Manchester gig is one of 12 UK dates they have confirmed.
The tour is set to open at Dundee’s LiveHouse with further dates including Newcastle, Leeds and Brighton as well as a huge show at London’s Brixton Academy.
Following the UK run, Franz Ferdinand will head over to Europe for a string of dates including shows in Berlin, Munich, Luxembourg and Vienna.
News of the tour comes as Franz Ferdinand prepare to perform at Glastonbury. Their Glastonbury date follows the release earlier this year of their seventh album The Human Fear and a run of shows across North and South America.
