Foster The People have shared their new track Take Me Back, the second song to be release from the group’s fourth studio album.
Take Me Back features on the Grammy-Award nominated bands upcoming release Paradise State of Mind. Foster The People release Paradise State of Mind on 16 August.
Take Me Back arrives after the multi-platinum and diamond-certified group returned last month with the single Lost In Space. That track gave the first taste of what to expect from Paradise State of Mind.
Now Take Me Back reveals more. The track has been produced by Foster The People lead singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Mark Foster and bandmate Isom Innis.

Foster The People formed in Los Angeles in 2009 with multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter Mark Foster at the helm. They then exploded through their 2010 debut single, Pumped Up Kicks, which topped Billboard’s Alternative Songs chart. The track then spent eight consecutive weeks at number 3 on the overall Hot 100 and rode high in charts around the world.
The band released their debut album Torches in 2011. The album was triple platinum certified and hit the number one spots on numerous charts. The album also landed Foster The People a Grammy Nomination.
They have since racked up more Grammy-nominations, Gold-certified albums and more multi-platinum releases.
