Fletcher has announced details of her third studio album which is set to land in July.  She has also premiered her candid new single Boy alongside an official visualiser.

Fletcher will release her new album Would You Still Love Me If You Really Knew Me? in July.  The album will land via Capitol Records and features the platinum selling artist’s new single Boy.

Announcing details of the new album, Fletcher shared a note to fans about the making of and meaning behind Would You Still Love Me If You Really Knew Me?, reading:

“June ’25
This is my heart split open on record.
Born from my terrifyign question: would I still be loved if I shared who I am right now?
I tried to gather my thoughts and feelings to share time and time again, so I did it in the best way I know how.  I wrote an album.
It is the sound of my cracking, but it is also the sound of my exhale.
Both an open wound and an act of liberation, it marks the start of a new chapter in a longer story.  One I am still learning how to tell.
So let’s start.  Not at the beginning, but somewhere in the middle.
Love always,
Cari xx”

New single Boy marks an introductory taste of the album.  The stripped-back arrangement of piano and acoustic guitar find Fletcher telling in a soul-baring chorus of kissing a boy and falling in love.  It reveals the confusion she encountered as a queer person and concern with people’s reaction to the relationship.

Fletcher will release her 11-track album Would You Still Love Me If You Really Knew Me? on 18 July 2025.
