Ella Langley has released her latest single, Never Met Anyone Like You, featuring country hitmaker HARDY. Built around acoustic guitar and rising into a punchy country-rock anthem, the track showcases both Langley’s storytelling and HARDY’s co-writing strength. Langley wrote the song with HARDY and producer Jordan Schmidt, who also handled production.
On social media, multi-platinum, chart-topping and award-winning singer-songwriter Langley described the release, saying, “this isn’t a love song.” HARDY added, “This is one of my favorite songs I’ve been a part of in a really long time. I love the craft of songwriting, so anytime that we get to have a twist at the end of the song, it’s my favorite thing in the world. It was a write that wasn’t even supposed to happen, which is a beautiful thing – we were caught off guard by our own creativity. Everybody in the room crushed it that day. I can’t wait to see people‘s reactions because I really do think it’s one of the coolest songs I’ve been a part of. I’m excited for it!”
The release follows Langley’s breakout year at the 2025 ACM Awards, where she was the most-nominated and most-awarded artist. She took home four titles, including New Female Artist of the Year and Single of the Year for you look like you love me. Her single weren’t for the wind has reached number 28 on the Billboard Hot 100 and sits at number 4 on US Country Radio, with over 230 million global streams.
Langley continues to tour as direct support for Riley Green and will also join Morgan Wallen this summer for several stadium shows. She recently extended her sold-out still hungover headline tour into the autumn, with several new U.S. dates added.
