Drug Church have announced details of their new album Prude which they will release in October.
Alongside the announcement, the punk five-piece have also shared their latest single Demolition Man alongside an accompanying video.
Drug Church will release Prude on 4 October. The album will clock in at 28 minutes of aggression and alternative hooks.
Demolition Man marks the first taste of what is to come from Prude. The track is accompanied by a video from Bill Wiff and purposes the question: what is the purpose of humankind? As frontman Patrick Kindlon adds, “A song about envying dogs because they know what they’ve gotta do each day. I’m sure dogs are often confused, but they always have the north star of instinct. People live without it.”
Prude comes two years after their previous album Hygiene. That album picked up widespread praise for the Albany based band and featured on a number of year-end lists. In putting together the 10-track Prude, Drug Church worked alongside producer and long-time collaborator Jon Markson.
