Delilah Bon has released her second album Evil, Hate Filled Female ahead of a UK tour including a Manchester gig.

Delilah Bon will headline at Manchester’s Deaf Institute in November, one of 10 UK dates she is playing.

The release follows a heavy festival season including sets at Download, Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds, 2000 Trees and Rock For People.

Evil, Hate Filled Female marks Delilah Bon’s second album and features the newly released focus track I Am The Best (Just Ask Your Momma).  Speaking about the track and accompanying video, Delilah Bon said, “This is a song I wrote about my online haters commenting and sharing my videos on social media, their engagement pushing them even more in the algorithm. It’s about how certain men online perceive me, how they despise everything I stand for, lyrically addressing their obsession and pointing out that their Mommas would probably love what I do. It’s a middle finger to all those that have demonised me online, the soundtrack of my villain era.”

The track follow the previously released title track as well as Volatile, The Internet, Finally See Me and Maverick which each gave a taste of what to expect from the 14-track album.  The album demonstrates Delilah Bon’s resilience and determination to take on adversity.  It does so through stories and characters with escapism and social commentary.  “It’s about turning the tables on hate and reclaiming our power,” she explains. “We are truly in our villain era and this album is our soundtrack.”
