A daytime clubbing experience is coming to Manchester where you can dance, laugh and still be tucked up in bed at a reasonable hour.
The event will run at Manchester’s New Century Hall in March, April and May. There will also be an event at Liverpool’s Camp & Furnace in April.
Day Fever comes from friends, actress Vicky McClure, filmmaker and broadcaster Johnny Owen and Jon McClure, frontman of Reverend & The Makers.
There’s no dress code, no egos, just positivity.
The idea came about in early 2024 and lead to a one-off event at Sheffield’s City Hall Ballroom. Since then it has turned in to a nationwide phenomenon with more than 85,000 guests to date.
From 3pm to 8pm thousands of partygoers from every walk of life are hitting the dancefloor at iconic venues across the UK to dance the day away at the “disco that doesn’t ruin your Sunday,” with tickets selling out in hours across cities like Nottingham, Sheffield, and Glasgow.
“Travelling up and down the country and seeing so many people enjoying themselves has been such a joy,” says co-founder Vicky McClure. “We’re thrilled that people feel comfortable at DAY FEVER. Hearing their stories has shown us how important it is to just take a break from life and have a bloody good dance!”.
