Daphne’s Flight will bring their harmonious blend of folk, blues, and singer-songwriter sensibilities to The Met in Bury this May as part of an extensive UK tour. The five-piece supergroup, featuring Chris While, Helen Watson, Julie Matthews, Melanie Harrold, and Miranda Sykes, are set to showcase new material from their upcoming album Favourable Light, alongside highlights from their rich back catalogue.

The tour marks their return to the stage after a 20-year hiatus and line-up change.  Their unique fusion of individual styles, along with their shared energy and chemistry, has captivated audiences across the UK.

Favourable Light marks a new chapter for the band, celebrating longevity, friendship, and the power of collective storytelling. Daphne’s Flight formed in 1995 and first performed together at Cambridge Folk Festival, before releasing their debut album and embarking on a tour the following year.  Their unique fusion of individual styles, along with their shared energy and chemistry, has captivated audiences across the UK.

Their latest record Favourable Light continues their legacy, embracing their eclectic sound and the deeply personal narratives that have defined their music.
