Cults have announced a European tour for later this year opening with a Manchester gig at Manchester Academy 3.
The Manchester gig is one of three UK dates the duo have announced. Madeline Follin and Brian Oblivion will also headline gigs in London and Brighton ahead of a European run including Paris, Berlin and Amsterdam. Ahead of the European tour they will also be playing a string of US shows including Lollapalooza.
The tour comes as the alt-pop duo prepare to release their new studio album To The Ghosts. Cults will release To The Ghosts on 26 July 2024.
The album will be available as part of a unique vinyl package which is available to pre-order from today. Pressed on 180-Gram Black Vinyl, the offering will be available in various colours including “Crystal Blue Vinyl”, “Pinkurple Vinyl” and “Green Onion Vinyl”. The package includes a gatefold jacket, printed inner sleeve, and a limited-edition autographed Zoetrope turntable slipmat.

Cults have shared two tracks from the upcoming album – Left My Keys and Crybaby.
The roots of To The Ghosts date back to the pandemic when they wrote music on weekdays from 10am-5pm with no deadlines or distractions. Cults recorded the album in Brian Oblivion’s apartment and travelled to Los Angeles in 2022 to celebrate with longtime producer and creative confidant Shane Stoneback who co-produced. The album has been mixed by John Congleton and mastered by Heba Kadry.
