Courtney Hadwin has shared her new track Spellbound which features on her upcoming debut album.
The new song lands just a few weeks after Courtney Hadwin dropped a new version of fan favourite Monsters.
Courtney Hadwin wrote and produced Spellbound in Minneapolis with the Grammy-winning Kevin Bowe. The track features snarling guitar riffs, stop-start rhythms and a blunt exorcism of a teenage crush.
Speaking about the track Courtney Hadwin said, “I’d been in this situation where I was completely obsessed with someone, and ‘Spellbound’ kind of wrote itself in the studio. We weren’t really expecting it to be a favourite or even a contender for this album, but it’s here and I’m so excited for people to hear it!”
Inspired by the likes of Mick Jagger, Janis Joplin, Tina Turner, Aerosmith and Bruno Mars, Courtney first came to attention as she won over huge audiences as she made the final of America’s Got Talent when she was just 13-years-old. Even now, her audition is one of the show’s biggest moments with over 310 million views.
Courtney Hadwin will release her debut album later this year.
