Against The Current vocalist Chrissy Costanza has shared her latest track I Tried To Act Your Age from her upcoming debut solo EP.
Chrissy Costanza will release her debut solo EP VII on 9 October 2024 ahead of a UK tour including a Manchester gig. The singer will headline at Manchester Academy 3 on the Spin The Bottle tour alongside Voila.
I Tried To Act Your Age follows Chrissy Costanza’s debut single 7 Minutes In Hell. The new track is one of seven which find their way on to VII.
Speaking about I Tried To Act Your Age, Chrissy Costanza said, “If Looks Could Kill is about a desperate, all consuming love that makes you feel like you’re repeatedly dying and being reborn. Inspired heavily by Romeo and Juliet, I wanted to capture that feeling of yearning for someone whose soul is so deeply intertwined with your own that you can no longer tell where one ends and the other begins. It’s the kind of love that feels predestined, as if you were meant to find each other in every lifetime.”
