Chrissy Costanza has shared her debut solo single 7 Minutes In Hell featuring Voila and will tour the UK with them in November.
Chrissy Costanza will open the UK and European dates of the Spin the Bottle Tour with a Manchester gig at Manchester Academy. The Manchester gig is one of three UK dates they are playing. They will also perform in London and Birmingham. The tour marks her first UK solo run apart from Against The Current.
Debut solo single 7 Minutes In Hell lands after Against The Current’s recent tour which included a Manchester gig at Gorilla. The track explores dark romance, the conflict between true self and idealised versions others expect her to be. It explores the line between Heaven and Hell, right and wrong and the temptation to embrace her darker self. As she says, “7 Minutes in Hell explores the unsettling reality of how someone else’s Heaven can be your personal Hell. For years, I was bound by others’ expectations, always questioning why I was drawn to what they deemed ‘wrong.’ This song is the awakening after falling from grace, realizing that what they called Hell might actually be my freedom.”
The track is accompanied by a music video from director Ryan Valdez. The video plays on the themes of the song through visual representations designed to be as eerie as they are enchanting.
