Chrissy Costanza has shared her new single Perfect Crime ahead of a Manchester gig next week.
The singer and vocalist of Against The Current will co-headline at Manchester Academy 3 following the success of her debut solo EP VII.
Speaking about the new track, Chrissy Costanza said, “The ‘Perfect Crime’ is about the silent, invisible ways we self-destruct—a crime no one knows you’ve committed because it’s all hidden behind a smile. The song has a grainy rock sound; it’s intense and defiant. I wanted to bring not only attention to those parts of ourselves we suppress, but express those raw emotions that often stay unspoken. I hope it opens up conversations about what we often keep hidden.”
The seven tracks of debut solo EP VII represent a new chapter for Chrissy Costanza. As she previously explained, “VII is a true reflection of my journey as an artist and every track holds a piece of my evolution—both musically and personally. I wanted to push boundaries, experiment with new sounds, and give my fans something raw and real. It’s a new chapter for me that feels closer to my soul than ever before. Through these seven songs, I explored my love for fantasy and mythology, imagining myself as Icarus with wings of wax and feathers, hurtling towards the sun.”
Chrissy Costanza will co-headline alongside VOILA on her first UK and Europe run apart from Against The Current. The Spin The Bottle Tour will open with a Manchester gig at Manchester Academy 3.
