Chanel Yates Unleashes Empowering Country-Pop Anthem ‘Big Girl Boots’ Ahead of C2C Festival Performances

Chanel Yates has released her latest single, Big Girl Boots, a country-pop anthem designed to uplift and empower listeners facing life’s challenges. The track highlights her blend of storytelling and infectious melodies.

Built on driving rhythms and bold instrumentation, Big Girl Boots offers an inspiring message of resilience. “Imagine the bestie who always gives you the best advice and confidence boost you need, to feel like your best and baddest self—that’s what ‘Big Girl Boots’ is,” Yates shares. “It’s more than just a breakup song, it’s pretty much a mantra to live boldly. I wrote this track as a feel-good anthem for anyone who needs a little extra courage to tackle whatever life throws at them.  Whether you’re picking yourself up after a tough breakup, finding the strength to leave a toxic relationship, chasing down a big dream, or just trying to survive the everyday chaos, this is your reminder to pull on those boots and stand tall (even if you’re as short as me).”

With its energetic hooks and empowering lyrics, the track cements Chanel Yates’ ability to connect with audiences on a deeply personal level. She draws influence from artists like Taylor Swift and Kelsea Ballerini, fusing country storytelling with pop sensibilities.

Chanel Yates will perform at this year’s C2C: Country To Country Festival in London and Glasgow. Fans can catch her at King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow on 15th March and at London’s The CountryLine and The Roundup stages on 16th March.

After making her television debut on The Voice UK, Yates has continued to build momentum, garnering millions of views across social media. Her 2024 releases included Cowboy For Christmas, which received airplay on BBC Radio 1’s Future Pop, Studio Apartment and Friend From Work.
