Bloom have shared their latest single The Works Of You, delving in to lingering feelings of love and their impact.
The track draws comparisons between love and artistic forms, how it works and ultimately how it remains.
Speaking about the new single the band said, “The Works of You is a unique kind of love song. About the love that lingers with you long after a person has left your life, and how it can come to shape you. Bloom likens love to art, how it can come in many shapes and forms, it’s distinct staying power, and how hearts can become galleries themselves. The instruments reflect this through their various stages, from sharp, aggressive undertones to sweeping symphonic highs, the works of you hopes to itself become a cherished memory in the soul of the audience. Recorded whilst on tour earlier this year, Bloom have used every opportunity they had to create and craft this song. Working again with long time producer Christopher Vernon, Bloom have written a song that captures best what they have built up a reputation for.”
