Bailey Zimmerman has released his highly anticipated new single Backup Plan, featuring country superstar Luke Combs.  Written by Tucker Beathard, Jimi Bell, and Jon Sherwood, the track pairs Zimmerman’s gritty, powerful vocals with Combs’ unmistakable style.

The song debuted live with a surprise performance during Combs’ headlining set at Stagecoach, where the Louisville, Illinois singer and songwriter Zimmerman joined Combs on stage, delivering a collaboration that left the audience stunned.

The track follows multi-platinum scoring Zimmerman’s recent hit All The Way with BigXthaPlug, which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100—marking BigXthaPlug’s first Top 10 and Zimmerman’s second. The track also claimed the top spot on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.

Looking ahead, Zimmerman is gearing up for his Summer 2025 New To Country Tour, which will kick off on June 6 in Indianapolis, IN. The tour will span 16 amphitheatres across the United States, with support from Dylan Marlowe and Drew Baldridge on select dates. This follows Zimmerman’s sold-out international headline tour, RELIGIOUSLY. THE TOUR, which saw the young artist performing to packed venues worldwide.

Bailey Zimmerman first gained widespread recognition with his viral breakout hit Fall in Love, which led to his record-breaking debut album Religiously. The Album. Since then, he has continued to ride the charts, earning multiple award nominations and performing on major television shows, including Good Morning America and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.  Zimmerman has earned multiple award nominations, including nods from the Billboard Music Awards, ACM Awards, People’s Choice Country Awards, and CMT Music Awards.
