Rising Irish folk trio Amble have shared their debut album Reverie. The album lands ahead of a headline tour in support of it later this year. The upcoming Reverie tour includes a headline Manchester gig at the Albert Hall.
The Manchester gig is one of 10 headline UK dates they will play. The tour also includes a Liverpool gig at the O2 Academy.
New 14-track album Reverie features fan favourites Lonely Island and Mary’s Pub alongside the recently release Schoolyard Days. The album was recorded live, with minimal takes to capture the raw energy and spirit of Amble, prompting lead vocalist Robbie Cunningham to explain, “If you listen to Reverie, you’re truly hearing who we are.”
The group—Robbie Cunningham (lead vocals/guitar), Ross McNerney (mandolin), and Oisin McCaffrey (guitar/vocals)—have unassumingly gone from quitting their day jobs in rural Western Ireland to the doorstep of an international breakthrough buoyed by over 100 million streams and sold-out shows around the world.
