Ada Morghe has shared her new single Shadow, the latest taste of her upcoming album Pure Good Vibes.

The single lands in the run up to a run of UK tour dates supporting Billy Ocean.  The tour opens with a Manchester gig at the O2 Apollo.

New album Pure Good Vibes finds Ada Morghe embracing new sounds.  The accomplished soul and jazz artist has been exploring Jamaican music culture, leading to a collaboration with Maxi Priest on the album title track and then 1Xtra airplay for follow-up Passion Play.

Now, Shadow finds Ada Morghe taking on loneliness to a rattling drum’n’bass inspired rhythm, moody piano and energising pace.  Speaking about the track, Ada Morghe explained, “Shadow is a very important song to me. It’s about losing the light, the joy, and the passion in a relationship – either with your partner or within yourself.”

The inspiration that Ada channels throughout Pure Good Vibes was ignited by a trip to Jamaica. What was intended to be a fleeting trip to join her live bassist, Livingstone Brown, during sessions with Maxi Priest unfolded into an entire album project. They stayed in Montego Bay and explored Kingston and Nine Mile Beach.  They found themselves infused with the island’s spiritual vibe.

Ada Morghe releases Pure Good Vibes on 13 June 2025.
